Why would people pray and fast for 40 days for other Aussies?
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (Jn 3:16)
He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. (Mk 16:15)
I pray You, if I have found favour in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You progressively, becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with You, perceiving and recognizing and understanding more strongly and clearly and that I may find favour in Your sight. And Lord, do consider that this nation is Your people. And the Lord said, My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. (Ex 33:13-14 Amp)
Be earnest and unwearied and steadfast in your prayer life, being both alert and intent in your praying with thanksgiving and pray that God may open a door to us for the Word the Gospel, to proclaim the mystery concerning Christ the Messiah; That [we] may proclaim it fully and make it clear, speak boldly and unfold that mystery, as is [our] duty. Behave yourselves wisely, living prudently and with discretion in your relations with those of the outside world, making the very most of the time and seizing the opportunity. Let your speech at all times be gracious, pleasant and winsome, seasoned as it were with salt, so that you may never be at a loss to know how you ought to answer anyone who puts a question to you.
